Country
| Field(0.93) | Country |
| Present | y |
| Prompt | Restrict query result to the following countries: |
| Notes | 1. Add: Clear button to clear countries. One button for all the above. Should all countries should be selected as default? At the moment only Australia is slected as the default |
| NotesNo. | 1 |
| Comments | Very few values. A drop down list might be more useful with Australia the default. |
| Priority | L |
| SAPAC | Supporting queries on all country names would be a lot of work because herbaria do not provide names in standard format. Maybe just support a few? |

Country Buttons

| Present | 1/2 |
| Prompt | Restrict query result to the following countries: |
| Notes | 2. Fix: Queries did not work for some searches. Result were display on HTML and Map once and once only. I Logged out and shut down the PC but this did not help. I was still not able to obtain the records returned previously, instead no records were displayed when I know these exist! PROBLEM? |

Additional comments by Chris Brodie, at present unchecked
- Format downloaded (amend on these output pages)
- Comments
- examples used
- Output to Map
- 3. Fix, Map display: For taxa that occur in other countries e.g.. NZ, PNG and Indonesia, the map shown when the query is executed is Australia only. The user has to navigate to the other countries. This is not acceptable!
- Leucopogon fraserui-NZ, Thelymitra hatchii - NZ, Feldmannia indica - Indonesia, Solanum erianthum - PNG
- Rex suggested fit map to data option like Google Maps' GBounds().
- SAPAC - Current mapping functionality uses map data from AVH1. Could add support for other countries but would need new map data and some additional coding to fix the problem identified here. Coding or maps was targeted at Australia.
- KW&GC: We're only working on Australia in this iteration, aren't we? Other countries (at least our 'neighbours') would be in AVH3? Having said that, the Google map version done for AD looks great, and it would be wonderful to use that for AVH, too. Then it would presumably be easy (at least as to the base map but ?a lot more work for programming?) to add neighbours.
- All formats
- 4. Fix: when a query is run with many records an error message is displayed saying "Your request matches 4401 records, which may take a long time to download. Would you like to proceed". When yes is clicked you are returned to the home page and no information is downloaded.
- Hakea l%
- SAPAC - Bug fix
- Output to Map
- 44. If in Restricted access add a button "Back to extended Search" to return to extended search screen
- N/A
- SAPAC - There is already a text link to do this could easily change to a button
- KW&GC: That would be useful.
